I'm looking to get #fediHired, available for contract work starting in October!

I am a software and systems generalist, having built and worked on all sorts of systems in different types of environments from education to small business to enterprise. I have lots (6 years) of professional experience in .NET, javascript frameworks, TSQL, mongodb, docker, cloud native stuff, etc, and personally I build a lot of stuff in go, C, shell, and vanilla JS, and I have over 15 years experience as a Linux and BSD sysadmin. I can learn new stuff pretty easily especially when I'm hands on!

I'm looking for part time or full time contract work in any kind of #softwareEngineering, #devOps, or #softwareDesign role that is demonstrably not pure evil. Particular areas of interest are resilient distributed systems; accessible, friendly and low footprint user interfaces; and internal tooling/infra/DX. Working on stuff that actually matters like alternative power, food systems, or comms, or anything arts-adjacent would be ideal.

I prefer remote work but am open to relocation.
